A.Menarini MSc Clinical Research Scholarship 2026/27 – Applications Opening Soon!

University of Galway, in partnership with A.Menarini, the HRB Diabetes Collaborative Clinical Trial Network (DC-CTN), and Galway University Foundation is offering a €10,000 scholarship for a student studying a Masters in Science in Clinical Research at University of Galway.

 

The scholarship will support one student undertaking either one year of full-time study or two years of part-time study, commencing their studies in the academic year 2026/2027. It is open to healthcare professionals such as doctors, nurses and pharmacists with research interest in diabetes, including early-career researchers and established investigators seeking professional development.

 

Eligibility

Applicants must:

  • Have applied for, received and accepted an offer for the MSc in Clinical Research at University of Galway.
  • Plan to conduct research in the area of diabetes.
  • Be a confirmed DC-CTN member, have applied for membership, or be affiliated with a current member.
  • Submit the completed scholarship application form, a personal statement, details of previous research, an up-to-date CV and all requested supporting documents.

 

Applications will be assessed on academic achievement and qualifications, potential impact on the applicant’s studies, future career potential, and DC-CTN membership or affiliation.
