Professor Fidelma Dunne has been named among “30 remarkable women to watch in Ireland’s STEM space”, recognising her outstanding contribution to diabetes research and clinical care.
As Director of the HRB Diabetes Collaborative Clinical Trial Network and the University of Galway’s Institute for Clinical Trials, Professor Dunne provides leadership in collaborative research aimed at improving patient care.
Her work in diabetes and pregnancy, contributions to major international studies, and more than 270 peer-reviewed publications reflect a sustained commitment to improving outcomes for women living with diabetes.
