Dr Antoinette Tuthill

I am a UCC graduate and completed my medical training in Dublin, and the Cleveland Clinic, Ohio. I then participated in research under the supervision of Professor Nick Finer and Professor Steve O’Rahilly in Cambridge and returned to Ireland to take up a consultant position in CUH in 2008. I have been Clinical Lead for Endocrinology and Diabetes in CUH since 2014, and am currently Co-Chair of the Transition in Diabetes Working Group, and Chair of the Diabetes Section of the Irish Endocrine Society. My research interests include insulin resistance, diabetes in pregnancy and the impact of exercise on hormonal function.
