Liam McMorrow

Liam Mc Morrow, PhD. Liam has lived with type 1 diabetes for 20 years. Over the years he has used a number of treatments including twice daily insulin regimen, basal-bolus regimen, insulin pump, continuous glucose monitor and currently using a closed loop system. Liam has also been involved as a patient representative in projects at the University of Galway and the Association for British Clinical Diabetologists (ABCD) in the UK. Professionally, Liam undertook a masters in health economics at the University of Galway and PhD in health economics at the University of Aberdeen. His postdoctorate research at the University of Oxford worked on diabetes projects and he founded a start-up to build a digital health solutions in diabetes. Currently, Liam works in launching digital health solutions at Novo Nordisk.
