Tell us a little about yourself? 

I am a Northern Ireland Civil Servant living in County Down and have been working in the IT Profession for 25 years. I have a BA (Hons) in Business and Finance and an MSc in Computing and Information Systems from the University of Ulster. My interest in Diabetes is as a carer for her children who are both diagnosed with Type 1. My thirteen year old daughter was diagnosed in January 2020 aged ten and my eighteen year old son was diagnosed more recently in January 2023. I am keen to contribute to initiatives and research aimed at supporting and improving the daily challenges diabetics face.

What’s the one thing you wish everyone know about diabetes? 

That it doesn’t have to hold you back.
